Our History |
Established in 1983 and based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, O'Connor, O'Connor, Lordi, Ltd. (OOL), has built a group of clients over the past 25 years with whom we are very proud to work. We believe there are a few key areas that differentiate our services from many other executive search firms.
One contact throughout
process
The OOL Consultant for a given search has accountability from point of
project start through closure. We achieve results by creating momentum in many different
directions but these efforts are managed closely by one individual throughout the search
process. We have found that direct accountability nets results in the form of a deep and
talented candidate pool.
Benchmarking/original
research
OOL is not an off-the-shelf solutions provider. We make every effort to
understand our client's unique needs and structure a recruiting strategy accordingly. We
do maintain a database of contacts but use it as one aspect of a multi-channeled approach.
We spend the time to identify organizations that have been recognized for best practices
in the appropriate area. This is where we recruit. This approach allows us to benchmark
our performance and recruit exceptional candidates as opposed to merely competent or
available candidates.
Limited number of
searches/guaranteed results
OOL takes on a limited number of
assignments as do each of our associates. This assures that our clients are getting the
attention they deserve. We also stand behind our one year guarantee on any candidate we
place. The combination of limited assignments and a one year warranty creates a win-win
scenario. We help our clients solve their problems as quickly as possible without
sacrificing any quality steps.
